We have been under current ownership since 2012 and at the same location in downtown Springfield IL since 2012. We're on the corner of Rutledge and Madison, just south of Memorial Hospital.

For many years we have kept a warehouse stocked with all the products we offer for sale. We are working now on listing product catalogs from bicycle component distributors to offer a much wider selection.

We specialize in closeouts, where we purchase large quantities of certain products from manufacturers and distributors and pass these deals on to you. Check our Wheelset Deal of the Day category to find just a few of these one time opportunities.

Jake McCulley - Jake puts in the long hours every day building wheels at the Mine.

Steve Schien - Cat lover. He's the head mechanic, wheel builder, inventory receiver and warehouse organizer. Steve can fix just about anything & especially loves working on his square body chevy truck with a 409.

Ben Cole - That's me in the back holding up the rabbit ears over Kevin's head. That sums up my job pretty well.

Kevin Floyd - Holder of the SRAM Top 25 dealer award. Those were the days. Kevin is in charge of shipping and returns right now. He also does some product listings and eats a lot of snacks. He's a dang good chef too when he decides to break out our charcoal grill.

Scott Mckinney - He works at a UPS store the last I heard.

Jeff Williams - Lead singer of punk rock band NIL8, graphic artist, painter of bicycle art, storyteller and the guy we call if a customer asks us to draw a giraffe on their box. Yes, this has happened along with other very odd requests.
